Front Street
24 × 18
Original Oil on canvas.
I love that the lifecycle of an idea feels like light- it twists and curves and fades and then pops back with vigor.
I was recently observing light cut by concrete and buildings and l loved the interaction. This summer, I had started to play with ambient glow, like the orange that surrounds the piece like a halo. All of these ideas had to combine to get me where I am today.
This piece is a culmination of what the light has been teaching me, I hope you like the lessons of light.
